I try to offer from the heart in everything I do. Until recently I was a full time teacher in New York City and have been traveling to teach workshops and retreats around the country as well. My greatest life adventures, a new partner and the arrival of our first child in Spring 2009, have joyfully brought me to Boston. I received my Vinyasa certification from Sonic Yoga in NYC, where I continued my Vinyasa study primarily at Kula Yoga Project in Tribeca and with Sri Dharma Mittra. In addition, I am Anusara inspired and recently took my first teacher training course in Kundalini Yoga. My discovery of Anusara yoga came with an injury that required me to take a deeper look at alignment and in that process I also found the the Tantric duality of body and spirit that is present in both Anusara and Kundalini.
My Anuara studies have been with John Friend, Darren Rhodes, Noah Maze, Elena Brower and Amy Ippoliti. My first Kundalini class ever was with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa- she and Kundalini Yoga touched my heart and my life. From there I continued to take Kundalini classes at Golden Bridge Yoga in Hari Kaur Khalsa and in August 2008 I attended a one-month intensive teacher training at 'Yogi Bajan's Ranch' with the beautiful Sikh community in Espanola, NM. To all my teachers- the ones in name, as well as those who teach me in life, love and laughter- Satnam and Namaste.
