Katrina began yoga with a competitive streak and a runner's expectations. Promptly humbled by her first yoga class, she was immediately drawn to the calming environment and attention to the present that yoga offers. Katrina enjoys the benefits of the physical and emotional exploration yoga allows. On and off the mat, she applies her attention to breath and commits to living her life in the present moment. Keeping a regular yoga practice has assisted Katrina in healing from anxiety and depression. Yoga has also given her a repertoire of yoga party tricks that continue to wow friends and family. Her teaching is grounded in Vinyasa, Forrest, and Ashtanga yoga. However, she is often seen "flying" in partner yoga where she is learning to build trust, stability, and openness. Katrina's classes are accessible to all levels and she offers a light hearted, fun class filled with hands-on assists and music.
